The FRA Foundation was founded in January 2008 to advance the development of False River Academy by cultivating and sustaining alumni and community relations and by coordinating support for the school through service, gifts, and other contributions. This support will help to sustain the unique learning environment of FRA, where excellence meets honor and tradition.

Second Chance Spirit Shirt Offering: Deadline Sept. 3rd

The FRA Foundation will offer a second opportunity to participate in the Spirit Shirt Campaign. The deadline is September 3rd. Any family wishing to participate can download the spirit shirt form attached below or click here. Once completed the form and your donation must ber received by our office no later than September 3rd.

This is the only additional order that will be placed for the remainder of the 2010-2011 school year and there will be no exceptions to the deadline. Spirit Shirts and guidelines will be distributed by the end of September to the oldest child in the family. Please ensure that you and your student(s) read and follow these dress code guidelines. If a stduent loses the privilege of wearing their shirt we will not issue any refund for a donation.

The Spirit Shirt Campaign has been a huge success in its first year. The FRA Foundation would like to thank all participating families for their support of this program, the first of its kind at False River Academy!

Link your Winn-Dixie card to FRA

You can raise money for FRA when you shop at Winn-Dixie. FRA earns points everytime you shop at Winn-Dixie. At the end of each quarter, the school receives a donation based on the percentage of purchases credited to FRA. If you recently signed up for the Fuelperks program at Winn-Dixie, you were issued a new card. New cards must be linked to FRA for your purchases to be credited to the school. Please link your new card with FRA.  You can print out an activation sheet which is attached below.

We Are Collecting Gently Used Uniforms

The FRA Foundation and Key Club are collecting gently used uniforms for a uniform sale on July 24th. Uniforms must be free from any tears, holes, or stains. You can send the uniforms to school with your child or call Jolie Howard or Jaimee Pangburn @ 718-5910 to arrange a time to drop them off.

GATOR CLAYS CHALLENGE START TIME POSTPONED

Due to weather, the start time for the Gator Clays Challenge has been postponed. Registration & lunch will start at 11:00. The shoot will begin at 1:30. If you are volunteering, please be at Long River Lodge at 11:00.

Gator Clays Challenge

The False River Academy Foundation is hosting its First Annual Sporting Clays Shoot on Saturday, April 24th. Registration begins at 8 am and the shoot starts at 9:30 am. Sporting Clays is a challenging clay target game designed to simulate field shooting. The Gator Clays Challenge is a great way to try out a new sport! Sponsorship and/or participation in this event will benefit FRA and its need for technological advancements, classroom improvements, and facility upgrades.

 

BIG Thanks to the FRA Elementary

The FRA Foundation would like to thank the Elementary School students, families, faculty and staff for participating in Dollar Free Dress Day benefiting the Annual Fund. Over $315 was raised. The FRA Foundation Annual Fund is being used to address the primary needs of False River Academy. For more information, please click "FRA Foundation Annual Fund" at the top of the screen.

FRA Elementary Art Exhibit & Auction A Success

Over $575 was raised to benefit the FRA Foundation at the first ever art exhibit and auction. The event showcased the art of 25 elementary students. Thanks to all those who participated, attended, and volunteered. We look forward to this event becoming an annual tradition at False River Academy.

New FRA Foundation Website Launched
